Hi, Robert? Robert Reed? This is Ron Stephenson, casting director over at Murder She Wrote. Great to talk to you again and I know I’ve said it before - big fan of your work on The Brady Bunch. I didn’t suspect at all. Great work all around.

It’s all perfectly plausible.

Anywhoozle, I’m calling because we’d love to have you on the show again! Yes, I know you already played completely different characters in “A Footnote to Murder” which aired on March 10, 1985 and “Murder Through the Looking Glass” which aired on February 21, 1988. But that’s all in the past! Let’s get you in here as a third completely unrelated character! Don’t worry - no one’s going to notice. We do it on TV all the time these days! In the first five episodes of Columbo, Robert Culp was a different murderer in like three of them. No one gave a flying fig! It’s a totally normal practice for 70’s and 80’s TV that won’t seem weird at all to millennials. I’m not even sure what a millennial is! Because this is the 80’s!
